Holla sista! How’s life going lately?
A couple days ago, I and my friends discussed about how people despise beauty bloggers. Well, I personally don’t consider myself as a beauty blogger (hey, I’ve never got endorsements from anybody) but yes, do I love to get sponsors. Back to the topic, I know that most blogs usually only give good reviews. That’s why some people don’t trust the reviews. However, I would like all my readers to know that everything I write in my blog is real, not a make up post just to please readers. If most of my reviews are positive, it’s because I don’t really like writing something that is bad.
Okay. Talking about positive-negative reviews, I finally have a gut to write a review about this product. This Milani Brow Tint Pen has been in my make-up stash like for ages. I bought it about two months ago in one of the online shops on FaceBook. At that time, I was so stunned by bunch of reviews I read that I decided to buy it immediately.
If you are a beginner when it comes to your brows, this felt-tip marker will be a highlight in your make-up routine. Promising a long-wearing, quick-drying, and buildable brow marker formula, this product–that comes in two different shades– is also paraben-free and made in Germany. When I tried it on my brows, I notices that the pigmentation is fairly sheer and I had to apply it a couple times to get the colour I wanted. What I love about this product is the felt-tip pen makes me able to shape my brows precisely. Another good thing is it gives me a very natural appearance. Mine’s the Dark Brown one and it works perfectly well for my brows without making them look too dark or overpowering.
Sadly, this product is not waterproof. I figured out about this in the most humiliating way. One day I wore this to my office. My brows looked great until I took a wudhu for praying. I found out that there was brown stain all over my face! It was a total disaster! Just look at the picture. You can literally see the brown streaks on my face.
Despite the not-waterproof formula it has, I do use it occasionally. For example, when I have to go to the supermarket nearby and I don’t wanna put a lot of effort, this product comes out very handy. I also use this when I’m in a rush and I don’t wanna go outside bare face. Beside that, I won’t use it because I know I will have my wudhu. Emm, another thing is I definitely won’t use this during rainy season. You know what will happen if you walk under the rain.
Now, let’s go down to the final verdict:
What I love about this product:
– The shade fits perfectly on my brows and looks natural.
– Felt tip for a precise brow styling.
– Paraben Free (yeaaay!)
– Very handy when I’m in a hurry.
– No need to sharpen it!
– Quite cheap for a non-local product.
What I don’t like about this product:
– NOT WATERPROOF
– Not available in Indonesia.

Wakakakkakakk…. Ember, ini horornya ngalahin film The Conjuring deh.
Kalo dirimu gimana? udah dites wudhu belom kalo dipake jadi pensil alis? Kalo oke, boleh juga tuh untuk referensi pensil alis alternatif
